TEACHERS        PRESENTERS

Ever wondered what it is like to be a real-life Biologist? What do they do in a day? Do they get to travel to cool places? Explore unknown things? Here is your chance to meet one!
Meet A Bama Biologist is a FREE virtual outreach program that virtually connects local Alabama elementary classrooms with University of Alabama Biologists. Teachers can sign up to have a Bama Biologist talk to their classroom about what it is like to be a Biologist and what they do.
Our Mission has a few simple goals:
I.) Bring Biologists and science to life by connecting local classrooms with real Biologists.
II.) Expand students' understanding of what Biology can be through a diversity of presenters with different areas of expertise.
III.) Serve as a FREE resource to teachers and classrooms.
We hope that, through this program, we can inspire wonder and excitement for the living world around us.

Are you a teacher interested in learning more? More information and the link to sign up can be viewed here.
Are you a student (undergraduate or graduate), postdoc, instructor, or professor interested in presenting? You can find more information and the link to sign up here.
